How Safe Are Silicone Breast Implants? Risks of Silicone Breast Implants

The protection of breast augmentation procedures is permanently under scrutiny. The truth is that while only 20% of those who receive a breast augmentation are doing for reasons of reconstruction. In general, as compared to the total amount of yearly breast augmentations performed, the consensus is that breast implants are in fact safe. When it comes to the silicon implant, there is much more debate on the protection of having the procedure done. Although silicon is a naturally found mineral in the human body, the absorption of silicon by means other than straight through consumption is not good. Some people's body has no problems intelligent this mineral even in its gelatinous form, while still yet others may have severe complications related with it.

When a silicon implant ruptures, it leaks ever so slowly. So moderately in fact, that many women will never even know that they have ruptured. In any cases, a exchange surgical operation was done and when the new incision was made, the silicon implant was found to have been ruptured for quite a bit of time. There are many variables involved when dealing with silicon implants. The first variable is the capsule, what this is, is scar tissue that was formed around the implant due to the body looking it exactly as it is, a foreign object.

Beauty Beast

In most cases, this scar tissue layer that develops around the implant creates a protective barricade that will consist of the silicon in case of a rupture without an issue. The real problem is that if the capsule is too thin, the silicon can leak out, but if the tissues is too this, it just may have been the cause of the rupture to begin with and it will just be a matter of time until the pressure build-up is so great that the silicon starts looking was straight through the capsule.

There is still no immense proof that the body's absorption of silicon leads to caner and therefore it cannot even be thought about as part of the inherent risks of the procedure. There has been studies on the silicon's reaction with the body's immune system and even more so with the lymph nodes that the gel comes into perceive with. In some cases, the silicon has reached the tissue of the lungs causing lymph node growths than are impossible to take off safely.

Among all that entails with the breast augmentation procedure, development sure that you are well informed is one of the most foremost parts so make sure you have ability data in which you can make well-informed decisions from concerning your procedure.

The Power of Happiness - Taming the Wild Beast of the Subconscious

For most of us, the subconscious mind is a animated and untamable beast. It lurks in the shadows, awaiting an opportunity to seize operate of our willpower and force us to abandon our goals for the temptation of the moment. Dozens of techniques and disciplines such as safe bet affirmations, self-hypnosis, neuro-linguistic programming and creative visualization have been created for the sake of gaining operate over the passions of the subconscious mind. Yet even these strategies wish the cooperation of the subconscious in order to apply them consistently and to achieve persisting results.

So is there any hope for taming the beast of the subconscious and holding it from sabotaging your aspirations for success? There is, and this is made potential straight through the power of genuine happiness...

Beast

The Driving Force of the Subconscious

According to world renowned human needs psychologist Chloe Madanes, the driving force of our subconscious is the desire to fulfill six basic human needs: certainty, variety, significance, growth, gift and love. Most of us call the pursuance of these six needs happiness, and it is this pursuance which determines the direction of our subconscious desires. No matter what thoughts or ideas occupy our conscious mind, our subconscious knows our inner most desires and will all the time be driven to fulfill them.

The problem is that many times we generate goals which are based on false ideas about what will furnish us with this happiness. For example, most vocation choices are made more out of the desire to make money than to the desire to fulfill the basic needs for significance, collection and contribution. Because these vocation choices do not make provision for a person's deeper needs, much of the extra income earned is spent on material things which they hope will make up for the lack of genuine happiness in their lives.

This is why many citizen are working jobs that they aren't happy with, but which they cannot quit because of the overindulgent lifestyle they have created for themselves. But the overindulgence does not end with a person's spending habits. Agreeing to the American health Association, citizen who suffer from obesity often have food cravings which are deeply rooted in the desire to fulfill unmet emotional needs. On top of this, emotional deficits can also cause problems in a person's relationships and in their capability to associate with others in a spirit of compassion.

These are all examples of how our deeper subconscious desires can cause us to tear our lives to pieces with one hand while struggling to hold it together with the other. At times, we might endeavor to subdue our emotional drive and to force convert by sheer willpower and discipline. But the more we endeavor to tame the subconscious mind, the fiercer its vigor becomes when we lose operate and the wild beast is lose again.

As the aged Chinese Proverb says: "He who rides the Tiger should be right not to get off." So what is the inexpressive to taming these desires and getting them working for us instead of against us? It begins with comprehension and accepting what will furnish us with genuine happiness...

Creating Genuine Happiness

There is no desire which can be repressed indefinitely, just as you cannot enduringly damn the natural flow of a river. In the best-selling book "Changes that Heal," Psychologist Henry Cloud stated that we can get rid of our awareness of a need, but that we cannot get rid of the need itself. Getting rid of the awareness of a need is what causes misunderstandings about what will bring a man true happiness straight through the fulfillment of the needs for certainty, variety, growth, significance, gift and love.

However, a clear comprehension of your genuine subconscious desire for happiness and the decision to pursue them will lead your life in a wholly new direction. This is the first step towards harnessing the unbelievable power of your subconscious mind to get it working for you instead of against you. This is easier than it sounds; it's plainly a matter of turning off all the noise and busyness in your life and listening to the small still voice of your heart.

The first thing to ask yourself about is the unproductive or disempowering behaviors which appear to be out of your control. Ask yourself which needs you are trying to fulfill by these behaviors and do not stop until you get the answers you are after. This will build self-awareness and help to release the repressed desires of your subconscious. Once this is done, it's time to take a long, hard and honest look at what will nothing else but fulfill those needs in your life.

For example, if over spending seems to be directed towards things which furnish you with collection and excitement, that's a clear signal that you have a deficit of collection and excitement in your life. Most of us make the mistake of reasoning that the need for collection and excitement is nothing more than a desire. However, medical explore reveals that citizen who have a lack of excitement in their lives are more likely to give up when they are diagnosed with final illnesses.

If you doubt this, ask anyone who has worked in a nursing home or assisted living factory how much quicker citizen die when they have a deficit of excitement and purpose in their lives. As Julian Greene said: "Boredom is one of the faces of death."

Similar results can come from a lack of certainty, significance, gift and love, proving that the emotional need for happiness is just as crucial to one's well being as the needs for food, water and shelter. This is why these needs must be appreciated, understood and pursued if we are to have any hope of gaining operate over our innermost desire to fulfill them. This is the inexpressive to taming the wild beast of the subconscious.

Natural Beauty Secrets - The Benefits of Natural Beauty

Women all over the world are literally dying to know natural beauty secrets. The truth is, natural beauty secrets are not really all that secret. Everywhere a woman looks, she can find all natural ways to become someone that is truly beautiful.

A couple of the biggest beauty secrets entail nothing more than loving yourself for precisely who you are, including all of the imperfections whatever you may think they are.

Beauty

There are so many benefits of natural beauty secrets. If you forget about what others think and make the decision to love yourself for exactly who you are, just the way you are and make an effort to do so daily, your self confidence will soar. Then you will be a happier person.

Everyone wants a better quality of life. For some women, they feel that if they just looked like that model or such-and-such celebrity, they would have everything they could possibly want and more. They feel that sort of beauty will open doors for them. In reality, while beauty might open a few doors, those doors will quickly be shut if you're ugly on the inside.

The old saying," beauty is only skin deep", still holds true today.A woman who is dedicated to getting what she wants and feels she deserves will go much farther in this life than one who relies on her good looks alone.

Another benefit of the natural beauty secret is of being happy with who you are at the end of the day, when all is said and done, you only have yourself. If you don't like yourself as a person, you can't expect anyone else to like you, either. While some may immediately be drawn to you because of your perceived beauty, they will quickly leave once they realize how poisonous your personality is. You'll wind up alone, with only a mirror for company.

Stop letting others dictate what you should wear, how you should look, or how you should act. Don't let the media or advertising executives who don't even know you tell you what to do with your life and body. Its up to you and you alone to make the choice as to what's best for you. That is the real natural beauty secret.

WoW Best Hunter Builds for Raiding and PvP

Raiding builds are designed to improve you or your guilds thorough damage in current end-game content.
Consider having at least one hunter with you with the Improved Hunter's Mark talent for the boost to the melee damage from other classes (ideally this talent is best taken by hunters with a Bm raiding build).

Note that the following builds are missing Hawk Eye. If you'd rather have this extra range (useful for avoiding some nasty AoE effects / curses especially during boss fights) then I would take the 3 points from Improved Barrage or Focused Fire / Impr. AotH and put them into Hawk Eye. Taking Hawk Eye with the Bm raiding build is not recommended, as you will have to cut points from GftT and / or Serpent's Swiftness, both prominent talents for that build.

Beast

For the best use of the Go For The Throat ability, get a Wind Serpent, since their Lightning Breath ability has no cooldown and is the best focus dump (ideally a Son of Hakkar from Zul'Gurub, which also already has the top rank Lightning Breath).

PvE Mm raiding build - 4/47/0

A decent raid build, in general focusing on damage. Compared to some other raid builds it puts the focus on lots of crits combined with the Go For the Throat ability, which will let your pet do an further 86-283 damage with claw / bite every time you crit.

For a pet you might want to think a Wolf for their Furious Howl ability, which gives you and colse to party members a bodily damage buff on your next assault or a Wind Serpent, which makes best use of Go For the Throat! Note that as this build is purely designed for high Dps, it does not contain Hawk Eye.

PvE Mm raiding build (with improved hunter's mark) - 7/44/0

It's a good idea to have a hunter with you in your raid with improved hunters mark for a nice damage boost to your melee classes. This one also combines Impr. AotH for faster Autoshots and and a 2% dmg increase from Focused Fire to compensate for losing Gftt and Barrage.

PvE Bm raiding build - 39/12/0

This is a bit of an out of the lowly build, in general relying on your pet to do a lot of damage. You won't have The Beast Within, but you'll have Go For The Throat, and combined with Impr. AotH, Serpent's Swiftness and Lethal Shots and a fast ranged weapon, your pet will be doing damage like crazy.

Also this build is ideal to use with Impr. Hunter's Mark, since you don't need Efficiency as much as Mm Hunters, giving them the opening to put those 5 points elsewhere, to increase their ranged damage!

PvE Surv raiding build - 5/5/41

Having one hunter (with the most agility) with you in the raid with this build can increase Dps of the other bodily damage classes considerably, thanks to the Expose weakness proc. Most beneficial in 40-player instances since there are a lot of players that can take benefit of this talent, in it's current state not as good for 20- and later 25-player instances.

Best PvP Hunter Builds

In Player versus Player combat, following builds can prove most productive in killing other players and / or helping your team win.

PvP Mm / Surv build - 0/43/8

Mainly for Group PvP, this combines very high damage output with some beneficial talents from the survival tree. You could switch the points from entrapment to improved wing clip, which is great for dueling whereas entrapment can be beneficial in some other situations, especially in Wsg.

PvP Surv / Mm build - 0/21/30

Your damage will be lower than the 0/43/8 build but you get higher survivability, faster traps and more hit/crit chance. Whether to choose scatter shot or wyvern sting is a personal option although i would suggest scatter shot, it has only a 30 second cooldown and there is no Dot afterwards which makes scatter + trap a solid option to get some range from your target.

PvP Bm build - 43/5/3

In PvP, hunter pets are often underestimated. They can deal a nice estimate of damage, and in the meantime interrupt caster's so it takes a lot longer for them to cast spells. Intimidation is a beneficial 3 second stun, giving you the opening to wingclip your target and get back into range if timed perfectly.

With Bestial Wrath and The Beast Within, you and your pet will even be unstoppable for 18 seconds every 2 minutes! Make sure you get a pet with a fast assault speed like, for example, a cat. Currently the fastest assault speed pets in the game (1.0 attacks per second).

The Mythical Merman

It's probably safe to assume that most people have heard of mermaids, some believing them to exist and some even claiming to have seen them. But what about their male counterparts, the mermen? This short article presents some descriptions of half-men half-fish from mythology and folklore.

Matsya, Avatar of Vishnu

Beauty And The Beast Pantages

The Hindu scripture Matsya Purana tells the story of the first avatar of the god Vishnu being in the form of a fish, or Matsya. According to the texts, a pious and righteous king called Satyavrata was washing in a river when a small fish swam into his hands. He was about to return the fish when it suddenly asked for his protection. Satyavrata obligingly put the little fish into a pot for safekeeping, but overnight the fish grew and requested larger accommodation. This repeated itself on successive nights, with Satyavrata moving the fish from pond to river and finally the ocean.

Realizing that the fish could be no ordinary fish, but had to be God incarnate, he offered his greetings. The fish, Matsya, told him that within seven days the earth would be flooded and all life would be destroyed. Satyavrata was instructed to collect all medicinal herbs, varieties of seeds and all the animals required for life to begin again and to wait for Matsya's return.

When the flood began Matsya appeared with a boat and Satyavrata got in with all the things he had gathered. For the duration of the flood, Matsya kept the boat afloat and recited to Satyavrata the contents of the Matsya Purana.

Matsya is usually represented as a four-armed figure with the upper torso of a man and the lower half a fishes tail.

Triton, Messenger of the Sea

Triton, the god of Greek mythology, was the messenger of the sea. He was the son of Poseidon and Amphitrite, the god and goddess of the sea and is usually represented as the classic merman. Like his father, he carried a trident, but his special attribute was a conch shell on which he blew like a trumpet to calm or raise the waves.

Tritons are a race of sea gods and goddesses who are descended from Triton. However, unlike their ancestors, the Tritons' appearance is often described differently. The second-century traveller and geographer Pausanius wrote of the Tritons "On their heads they grow hair like that of marsh frogs not only in colour, but also in the impossibility of separating one hair from another. The rest of their body is rough with fine scales just as is the shark. Under their ears they have gills and a man's nose; but the mouth is broader and the teeth are those of a beast. Their eyes seem to me blue, and they have hands, fingers, and nails like the shells of the murex. Under the breast and belly is a tail like a dolphin's instead of feet".

Another description of Tritons is that of a fish-centaur, or Ichthyocentauri. These fabulous creatures had the upper body of a man and the lower body of a fish, but in place of their hands they had horse's hooves.

The Strange Mermen of Japan

In Japanese folklore, the merman Amahiko is one of a host of mer-people who appear before humans in order to predict either a good harvest or to warn of a natural disaster. However, the disaster can usually be averted if people are shown a picture of them. This somewhat strange caution has been reported throughout Japanese history, attributed to the various but similar looking mermaids/men Amabie, Amabiko, Amahiko-nyudo and Arie, in addition to Amahiko.

Not all sightings of these creatures are in, or near, the sea. They have occurred in rice paddies and on dry land, but the appearance of these mer-folk is always described as being the same.

confident Cash Flow is the Elusive Beast in Real Estate

Through every cycle, many real estate investors forget why they invested in real estate in the first place. When the market appreciates, we all come to expect that real estate prices will rise forever. Why not pay full asking price for a asset when it will appreciate 20% in one year?

If you put 10% down on a 0,000 house, for example, you could earn 200% return on your money. Never mind that the house could only rent for 0 a month. Assuming a 7% interest rate, the interest only payment is 50 per month. Add taxes and assurance into the mix, and you're seeing at a negative cash flow of 0 a month. Ouch!

Beast

The logic of the last few years was that the appreciation would wipe out all negative cash flow sins. The reality of today is very dissimilar as many wannabe real estate investors are experiencing.

Ask any grizzled real estate investor and he would tell you that inescapable cash flow from a single family rental house is an elusive beast.

But what about all those other investors who live off their revenue properties? First of all, observation how it's always "other investors" who are seeing success? Those "other investors" paid down their mortgage to the point where their payments are less than their rental income. So if they own a house that is worth 0,000 but they only owe ,000 to the bank, their payment would be 3 a month, fully amortized. Since we assumed that the rental rate is 0 per month, their net revenue is 0 - 3 = 7.

That's inescapable cash flow, is it not?

The sass is yes, but at what price? If they only owe ,000 to the bank, they have 0,000 of their money in the property. What is their return on investment?

Let's work it out. 7 per month in net behalf equals ,804 per year. Divide ,804 by 0,000 and you'll get 4.54%. That's right folks. The "other investor" is getting a whopping 4.54% return on their investment. Can you think of someone else speculation vehicle that can beat 4.54% returns? Stop when you get to 100.

Did I mention that being a landlord is hard work, yet? You've heard of collecting rents and clogged toilets, haven't you? Nuff said.

So why the heck would whatever want to invest in real estate?

That's a in effect good question. In fact, it should be the first demand that any wannabe real estate investor should ask. The second demand should also be the same as the first question. Wannabes should ask themselves this demand at least three times.

If they pass this first screening process, they will see that the true sass to why they or whatever else would invest in whatever is...cash flow.

What?!?

We all invest for cash flow. I don't care if it's a stream of cash flows or one big cash flow (cash chunk?) in the end when we sell; we all invest for the cash flow. And this cash flow has a price. Find the right price and the cash flow becomes that much sweeter.

For example, let's say that we bought the rental house mentioned above for 0,000 instead of 0,000. Our interest payment would be 8 per month based on 10% down. Add taxes, assurance and asset supervision fees, and we'll be seeing at 3 per month. All of a sudden, we'd be seeing at 0 - 3 = per month. Yippee!!

Not only that, but our return on speculation is ( x 12) / ,000 = 5.13%. The amount is not stellar but it took a lot less money to earn that return. By the way, a month in inescapable cash flow on a single family house based on 10% down is nirvana in real estate investing land. Don't believe me? Go ask your local grizzled investor.

All right, so how do you find the 0,000 house? That is a demand for someone else article.

Like I said, "Positive cash flow in real estate is an elusive beast."

confident Cash Flow is the Elusive Beast in Real Estate

The Beginnings of the Academy Awards

The man behind the establishment of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in 1927 was Louis B. Mayer, boss of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) studios. The organization's goals were defined as developing a means of honoring notable achievements in film in order to encourage even greater efforts and achievements in the future of the industry.

The Academy Awards, also known as the Oscars, have been distributed by the American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in recognition of excellence and achievement within the film industry since 1929, making it the oldest awards ceremony in the history of all media. These awards established the paradigm upon which the Grammys, Emmys, and Tonys are based (its music, television, and theatre industry equivalents, respectively).

The Beast Pantages

On May 16, 1929, the Academy Awards ceremony, honoring 15 statuette winners (who had already been announced three months in advance of the event) took place in the Blossom Room at the Hotel Roosevelt in Hollywood, California during a private banquet for approximately 260 attendants. Director William C. deMille hosted the event, along with Douglas Fairbanks, actor and Academy president, who distributed all the awards himself that night. Emil Jannings was the recipient of the first Academy Award for Best Actor, for his roles in both The Last Command and The Way of All Flesh. Best Picture that year was Wings, the only silent film to ever win the award for Best Picture in the entire history of the Academy Awards. The inaugural Academy Awards ceremony cost five dollars to attend, and an after party took place at the Mayfair Hotel.

From 1930 until 1943, the awards ceremony took place at either the Ambassador Hotel in Hollywood or the Biltmore Hotel in downtown Los Angeles. However, by 1944, increased guest attendance rendered the usual banquet halls impractical, with theatres seeming to be more appropriate venues from that year on. Thus, from 1944-1946, the ceremony took place at Grauman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood, then at the Shrine Auditorium from 1947-1948. The next year, they took place at the Academy Award Theater in Hollywood; then for the next ten years, they took place at the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood. From 1953-1957, Academy Award ceremonies were held on the East and West Coasts simultaneously, with one taking place in Hollywood, and one taking place in New York. Beginning with the 1958 Academy Awards, a single awards ceremony has been held on the West Coast each year, taking place that year and the next at the RKO Pantages Theatre. For the 1960 event, the ceremony moved to the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium. In 1969, the ceremony moved to the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion at the Los Angeles County Music Center. Since 2002, the awards ceremony has been broadcast from the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood.

As of the last Academy Awards ceremony, in 2010, 1825 awards have been won, with 2,789 Oscar statuettes distributed since the very first in 1929. Since the early days of the awards, they have gone on to become one of the most highly anticipated events among film industry professionals and movie lovers alike. The most watched of any entertainment industry awards shows, Academy Awards ceremony broadcasts have received 195 Emmy nominations, and won 47 times. Various corporate and crystal awards are available for purchase online, for those companies or organizations who are inspired by the Oscars tradition of honoring excellence.

Fifteen years ago, breast enlargement surgery was quite rare. It was unattainable for most people because of the relatively high price back then and also because it was not as widely socially suitable as is it today. Now that breast surgery is cheaper than it used to be and it has become affordable for a great many people. The reasons for choosing breast enlargement surgery are becoming more and more diverse but price remains one of the key factors.

Beauty Beast

So how much does it cost today? Breast augmentation prices will vary from one cosmetic surgery to the next. Any way the main factors determining the price are as follows:

The aftercare package; The sense of the surgeon; The estimate of overnight stays/days in hospital required; Any variations on the course e.g. Implant placement and surgical incisions; The cost of the breast implant size and type being used; The costs and behalf margins of the company; Any discount offers available; Finance and credit options. Normally you will pay back more extensive if you take out credit or a cosmetic surgery loan. In some cases, you may be able to get interest free credit but often this cannot be used in conjunction with other offers such as a discounted price.

If you do not have sufficient funds to pay for your breast enlargement, many of the cosmetic surgery clinics offer finance, loans and credit options.

Once you have identified your shortlist of chosen clinics, you should dispose a consultation with them. Following the consultation, the clinic should quote you a price for your surgery. Ensure that your quote contains all costs such as:

Surgery, together with anesthetist's costs; Overnight stay(s) where applicable; Breast enlargement surgery aftercare together with effect up consultations and details for under what circumstances the implants will be substituted free of charge. Also the period of the aftercare period; The cost of the implants themselves.

Things to Do When You Visit Minneapolis

Minneapolis has been referred to as one of the "biggest little cities" in the United States, and it is definitely overflowing with both charm and activity. For example, the city has 24 lakes that are an ideal setting for ice skating in the winter and going on a picnic in the summer. Also, visitors from across the nation and locals both can enjoy relaxing at a sidewalk cafe, spending an evening at the theater or shopping in the city's impressive variety of stores.

Where You Can Stay

The Beast Pantages

You can take your pick from the many outstanding three- and four-star hotels in downtown Minneapolis, and they are interspersed with several cozy and more affordable bed and breakfasts. The most popular venues for visitors are centered around the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities and the city's convention center and basic motel accommodations can be found on the outskirts of town.

Where You Can Eat and Drink

The city is known for its hardy German and Scandinavian roots, and immigrants from virtually everywhere have brought their ethnic cuisines with them as well. Perhaps this is the reason that a 12-block area on Nicollet Avenue, which runs from 29th Street to Grant Street, is home to such a variety of ethnic grocery stores and restaurants that it is often referred to as "Eat Street."

The northwest section of the city's downtown is full of nighttime activity, including several nightclubs and about 40 bars. This area is the center of dancing, late-night dining, bar hopping. The Hennepin Theatre district, which is located uptown, also promises visitors an enjoyable night out with a good choice of restaurants and three historic theaters nearby.

What Sports Fans Can Do

If you visit in the spring or summer, you may want to join the crowd and cheer for baseball's Minnesota Twins. In the fall, you can watch the Minnesota Vikings play football at the Metrodome, and in winter, basketball enthusiasts come out for a Timberwolves game at the Target Center.

If you also think of shopping as a sport, you won't want to miss visiting the Mall of America. Located in suburban Bloomington just outside the city, it is the country's largest shopping mall, covers 4.2 million square feet, and boasts 520 stores.

A Few of the City's Cultural Highlights:

Since it is internationally famous, the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis is considered to be the world's best multi-disciplinary museum, and it offers stunning film and video exhibits and a vast array of programs in the visual and performing arts. Along with that, the city also has many notable theaters, including the State Theater, the Orpheum Theater, the Pantages Theater, the Guthrie Theater, and the Hey Theater.

Designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1934, the architecture of the Malcolm Wiley House emphasizes the relationship between the use of natural light, orientation to site, and the interplay of space, eliminates superfluous ornamentation, and is also notable because of the expertise the architect showed in the way natural materials were used when he designed this home.

Beauty Pageant Questions

If you ask any previous beauty pageant winner, they'll tell you the beauty pageant questions round is where the competition is won and lost. This round is often the clincher, and there is no other round that installs so much fear and anxiety into contestants. Read on if you're looking to find out how to get through this round in flying colors.

The beauty pageant questions round are where contestants get their one and only chance to show off their inner beauty to the judges. It's where contestants get the chance to show the judges that there is more to them than a pretty face and dress. The interview will show the judges what the contestants' morals and ethics are, and how confidently they come across.

Beauty

To make sure you stand out from the competition, you will need to focus on gathering your thoughts before hand, and give a logical and appropriate answer when you're required to do so. You must speak clearly and confidently too, and look completely assured when you're giving an answer. Don't just respond with a yes or no answer, and always justify what you say.

So how can you improve your performance in the beauty pageant questions interview round? You need to practise, a lot! Practising sample pageant interview questions are a great way to help prepare yourself for when you're on stage. The last thing you want to happen is to go up on stage and be a trembling and nervous wreck.

You can be asked a whole variety of questions in the beauty pageant questions round. You may be asked simple questions about yourself, such as what your plans for the future are or what you do with your free time. You can also be asked your views on political issues, such as how would you deal with homelessness, and should the US have gone to fight in Iraq.

Some of the other questions you're likely to be asked will require outward thinking, and there is not always a right or wrong answer. For instance, the judges can ask deep, philosophical questions, such as what you're views are on abortion, capital punishment and same sex marriage. It's important you establish views in these subjects, and answer honestly.

A great tip to stand out in the beauty pageant questions round is to pause before speaking. Don't be afraid to pause for a few seconds whilst formulating an answer, as you don't want to stutter like crazy and end up all confused. You also don't want your answers to sound too prepared, as you want it to flow naturally as possible.

Remember, in this section of the beauty pageant, confidence is essential. The only way you can be more confident when answering questions, is to practise! You'll know what to expect then, and you'll be so prepared, that you'll have every chance of winning!

But make sure you get to see those current Broadway shows, by hook or by crook!

What of you are not in New York or are not planning to visit new York, and can't get to the current Broadway shows? Don't despair. First of all, these shows run for years (the better and best ones, anyway). Second of all, the best are so successful and their so generous and respectful of the theatre arts world that the current Broadway shows get taken on the road--to Boston, Philly, San Francisco, and further.

The Beast Pantages

What if you cannot afford current Broadway shows, whether they stay in the Big Apple or travel to Siberia? Ah, there's still no excuse: there are a number of ways you, too, can be saved. Or, er, you can save money and still be blessed with the most alluring, engaging, and cathartic of the arts:

For students make sure to contact the theater box office, and ask for their student discount ticket prices. Most of these current Broadway shows' theatres, opera houses, and symphonic or any other concert halls would typically have student price and even student group price available.

For those senior citizen, you have the priviledge of getting discounts for the most number of events, similar to that for buses and restaurants, etc. Make sure when you go ahead and order the tickets, that you ask about these senior disount prices.

If you can, go ahead and try for same-day or last-minute tickets. A ticket that is not called for at the reservation window by a certain time (often within a few minutes of the curtain call) is usually made available, AND at a greatly discounted rate. Show up on the day of the performance for any of the current Broadway shows you want to attend. Go to the reserved tickets window and ask if there are any no-shows. Also, tell the teller you will check back (at his/her designated time), or ask when you can return to check for no-shows.

Standing to watch a show is a lot cheaper for obvious reasons. Here in San Francisco, if you take an SRO ticket (Standing-room only ticket), you pay one dollar and agree to stand in the very last aisle in the very back of the theatre...at the very top of the outer space seats. But, for a dollar, you can even bring your own munchies and even your binoculars to the current Broadway shows, shift your feet on occasion, even lean, in some instances, and check out any one of dozens of award-winning, heart-endearing and rewarding current Broadway shows.

Cosmetic History Worldwide and the Growth of the Cosmetic Industry

Cosmetic history worldwide has gone through a sea of change over the past few centuries. Today the cosmetic industry is worth over billion, but this was not always the case. Before we study more about the history of cosmetics, we need to search the origin of cosmetics. Cosmetics was not a business during its nascent stage and it was solely used to enhance the look of the facial skin. It all started during the 4th century BC when cosmetics and business were words from two different worlds.

If we look into the history of cosmetics then we find that the Egyptians were the precursors of cosmetic use. Here the women of the upper class used animal fat, scented oils and eye color to give a real 'facelift' to their faces. During its initial years, cosmetics were restricted to the confines of a room where they were prepared from natural ingredients. Cosmetics had not yet found any commercial use though it was exchanged among women.

Beauty And The Beast Pantages

The western world also embraced it (though a little late) much to the dissatisfaction of the Church and Queen Victoria. The use of cosmetics here was more among the lower class women and this is what slowly gave rise to cosmetics being manufactured for sale among the common masses. The French were the first to manufacture cosmetics on a large scale with the use of new and improved methods. They replaced the dangerous ingredients like copper and lead with Zinc oxide and other harmless chemicals. This soon resulted in wide sales of cosmetics and women from the elite as well as lower classes started to use it for their facial beautification.

The history of cosmetics changed with the end of World War II and the industrial growth during the 1940's, when cosmetics found acceptance among women from all corners of the world. With the advent of the electronic media like Television and Radio, things looked really sunny for the cosmetic industry as actresses wore cosmetic makeup that attracted the general masses - a huge boost to the sales figures. Soon more and more women turned it into a habit to wear cosmetic makeup for almost all occasions.

People, mostly associated with the cosmetic industry, wanted to manufacture healthier and better products because they did not treat this as a business but something that even had use in their homes. Technological advancements made it easier for the companies to try out different ingredients for their cosmetics and this has also provided a plethora of options in front of modern consumers. Cosmetic history worldwide is all about providing the right kinds of cosmetics to satiate the obsession to look beautiful and remain young..

Nowadays, the cosmetic industry is not only concentrating on cosmetics for women, but even providing the metro-sexual males a chance to improve their facial looks. Today, the world's cosmetic industry faces a huge demand and a real challenge in producing good quality cosmetic products. It is still a highly lucrative business for new entrants, but the challenge now comes from clinical studies that show the existence of toxic ingredients that are currently used in the manufacture of cosmetic products. These ingredients, used over long periods of time, are now being considered harmful to one's health. Therefore, the history of cosmetics today wills evolve into where the industry will go in the future with this new information that indicates the continuous use of these toxic ingredients could be harmful to one's health.

Little did the Egyptians know then, when they were short of options and they sat in front of the mirror to use their cosmetics, what challenges would exist today.

Taking The Plunge

Are you ready to step out of your rut? There are five easy steps to producing your own theatrical show.

1. Write the script. Keep it small and simple. No fancy sets or a cast of thousands. One or two characters are more than enough to create a compelling story.

2. Find a venue. You don't need to premiere your show at the Kodak Theatre or Pantages. Scope out local community theatres and nearby universities. There are even venues that will allow you to use their space for a nominal fee (as little as ), as long as you're not selling tickets.

3. Cast and crew up! Find actors and crew amongst your circle of family and friends or check out the college theatre department.

4. Tell the world! Create a press release telling the world about what you're doing. Send it to local newspapers and arts publications. Post online in message groups and arts calendars.

5. Perform your show. You can perform your show once or 20 times. It's up to you. Just remember to continue to market your show throughout the duration of your run.

Don't be afraid to step out there! With a plan and action you can begin producing theatre today. Get more tips on how to produce theatre from the new ebook "How To Write And Produce Your Own Stage Play And Make A Profit" at [http://www.ImageBuildersEntertainment.com].

Using the Disney Princesses As Role Models For Children

Belle, an intellectual teen living in a small village in France, beloved by her father and revered for her beauty by all the villagers, was humble. Her name means "beauty" in French, but she didn't realize she was beautiful because she always had her nose in a book. She had handsome men falling at her feet, but she would rather learn. Belle showed strength and courage as she entered an agreement to live in a castle with a beast to save the life of her father. She easily looked beyond the Beast's outward appearance and found something in him that was gentle and that she loved. Because of her love, the Beast's life was saved and a spell broken. Belle is a positive role model because she is smart, witty, strong and teaches young girls to not strive for outer beauty, but to seek for the beauty that comes from within.

Ariel is another example of a strong willed teenager. She was extremely driven and would not let anyone stand in the way of her dreams. She was a mermaid and her goal was to obtain legs. While seemingly an impossible feat, she found a way to trade her beautiful singing voice for legs. In an amazing feat, she learned how to walk, to help others, and to find her one true love. Ariel and her drive teaches little girls to never give up on their dreams even if they may seem impossible. The impossible seems possible when Ariel is around.

Beauty And The Beast Pantages

Snow White was kind and loving towards animals and those less fortunate. As the most beautiful in the land, she did not love herself most, she loved the Seven Dwarfs and served them kindly and patiently. She was trusting of an old hag and it later led to her near death experience, but was quickly revived by her Prince. Snow White teaches us to look for the best in others and to not be self-centered, to turn our thoughts to what others needs are before our own.

Cinderella, beloved by her father and destined to be a queen was another example of humility. Even though she was a princess, she was forced unfairly to do menial labor at the hand of her step mother and step sisters after her father died. She gracefully endured her situation until her Fairy Godmother came to her rescue and helped her arrive at the Ball in style. Prince Charming unraveled the mystery and asked her to marry him. Cinderella teaches young girls to never give up and that your situation does not define you.

Lastly, Sleeping Beauty or Aurora teaches us that destiny is certain, but there are those waiting in the wings to help us through our greatest trials. She had complete faith that she would in the end emerge as a true princess. While seemingly dead, others also had faith in her that the curse could be reversed. Sleeping Beauty teaches us to have faith through our greatest trials and to accept help from the angels who live among us. She also teaches us to be kind to animals and to be brave enough to be rescued by the one we love most dearly.
