Anti-Aging Beauty Secrets for Women in their 30's, 40's and 50's
Throughout the course of business, I've had the pleasure of speaking some of the best make-up artists in the world. Some have even painted the faces of Hollywood celebrities hence; I've a huge collection of anti-aging beauty secrets all filed up in my gray matter. Today, I'll share some with you. |

The anti-aging industry owes its success to women (generally speaking, women purchase more anti-aging products and services than men) who are entering their 30's, 40's or 50's. The thing with approaching middle age is this...people tend to believe that make-up hides the age but this cannot be further from the truth. Heavy makeup should be reserved for the young because they can carry it off better. The more makeup an aging woman wears on her face, the older she looks. It's simple....the makeup you wear on your face (if you're in the above mentioned age group), calls attention to the flaws like discoloration of the skin, wrinkles, patchiness, dry skin and zits as well. Another big makeup mistake done by aging women is that they believe that beauty is in wearing the same kind of makeup that was hot about fifteen years ago. Retro was in when you were young but now that you're hitting 40, retro is no longer in, so, if you continue to use the same makeup technique and style, you're going to end up looking....well, aged. Warm tones, the lip gloss, mascara, liner and blusher should be focused on instead of the painted-on look of heavy eye-shadow and Kohl. The group of people who have the most problems with makeup is a group I would loosely refer to as the 'busy mothers' group. She wants to look her best and yet she doesn't exactly have all the time in the world to put on makeup - and it's impractical to spend too much time on splattering on makeup early on in the morning only to hit the kitchen five-minutes later. If beauty is what you're looking for and you're too busy to spend too much time on the makeup, try focusing on the foundation (mineral foundation is fantastic), brush on the blush and then apply the lip gloss. It's enough to make up look and feel out of bed and alive and yet, it doesn't take up too much of your time. And of course, there's something else that you can do to feel and look young and it does not take an eternity to do up... that would be to dab on a little bit of your favorite perfume before heading out.
